VIDEO:  How To Avoid The Most Dangerous Conversation Mistake That Most People Make

People Skills
In this video you will learn about the most dangerous conversation mistake that most people make.  Any guesses on what it might be?
I'll give you a hint.  It has to do with how you make people feel.
Be an upper; not a downer
Because you have the power to program how people feel about you.
So you might as well talk about the things that make them feel good. Pump them up.
It is hard-wired in their brain
This means that they will get that feeling just by thinking about you.
The examples we used in the video were related to the idea of classical conditioning. Classical conditioning was developed by a man named Pavlov. He discovered how the brain wires two things together when they happen at the same time.
The common phrase people use for this is...
"Neurons that fire together, wire together"
Have you ever felt nostalgia simply by smelling a certain candle or other scent? Well that smell caused certain neurons in your brain to light up. And those neurons are physically connected to memories. So when the your smell neurons light up, so do your memories.
When it comes to other people and how you make them feel...
You are Pavlov's bell
Which means that you are the trigger in their brain that causes them to feel a certain way.
And when you program people to feel good, you will have classically conditioned them the right way.
So be a good little trigger.
DON"T
  • Bitch
  • Complain
  • Moan
  • Talk About How Bad Things Are In Your Life Or In The World
DO
  • Be An Upper
  • Make People Feel Good
  • Talk About Things That They Like
  • Talk About Things That Excite Them
  • Pump Them UP
Of course remember that these are just rules of thumb. You don't have to do this ALL the time.
